A learning class.

Dear Friends,

Recently I tried an idea to develop the interest in languages.

I asked my students to give me a topic to learn the language.

They selected and gave me an idea to learn about the movies, songs etc.

It took few minutes to frame my lesson and convert into interest of the children.

I planned to take Informal Letter to teach.

By asking certain questions, we together decided to write an informal letter to the villain of the movie by suggesting improving his attitude towards the hero.

It was amazing!!

All students participated actively and gave a bunch of suggestions in their letter within a format.

I think if we frame our lessons according to student’s interest, they not only learn more enthusiastically but also they become more and more interested towards a particular subject.

Hope this will be useful for our teaching-learning community.

Dear Arvind Many thanks

Dear Arvind

Many thanks for your post.

In terms of getting the message to others, you may find the IB Online Curriculum Centre (OCC) is more effective. This is exclusively for IB teachers - you need a password from your IB coordinator to access the site.

This community theme site is set up specifcially to deal with global issues, so users are more likely to be looking for posts relating to this.

Best wishes
