CEE India is concerned with the environment and sustainable development in India, and has associated organisations in Australia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Programmes incude education work in schools.
It has three specific programmes responding to disasters:

Rebuilding Lives: Tsunami Rehabilitation Programme
Rebuilding Hope: Gujarat Earthquake Rehabilitation Programe

Why not look at the EarthDay.net site, which has some ideas of what you can do - linked in to Earth Day on 22 April.
We shall be posting some global lessons and other materials relating to Earth Day to this site later this month / early next month.
