It's great that you are
It's great that you are using this site to make new contacts within other IB schools. But does simply corresponding with others count as a CAS activity?
You may like to start a forum where you and others can discuss the global issues of the community theme - or any other global issues of interest.
You could consider how your own lifestyles impact on the lives of others and the environment - and what you can do about it.
You could look at the materials on poverty put up here for last year's global lessons, as a start. There’s a piece on what we as individuals can do about poverty.
Whether or not this would count for CAS, it would certainly be of interest and benefit.

My name is Eduardo but you can call me Edward is easier that way. I'm from Monterrey, México and i'm finishing my third semester of IB (we measure IB in semesters 1-6 around here).
