IM NEW TO THIS SITE....MY NAME IS CIERA I GO 2 EAST MECKLENBURG HIGH, LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE NC. IM NOT IN THE FULL DIPLOMA PROGRAM; MY SCHOOL SYSTEM DEVELOPED SOMETHING CALLED THE IB "CERTFICATE" SO INSTEAD OF HAVING TO TAKE 6 IB CLASSES I ONLY TAKE 3. I DIDNT WANT TO TAKE THOSE 3 BUT IN ORDER TO STAY AT THE SCHOOL IM AT I HAD TO OR I WOULD HAVE BEEN SENT TO MY HOME SCHOOL. THANK GOD.  I TAKE MATH STUDIES, THEATRE, AND HISTORY OF AMERICAS. I AM ALSO ENROLLED IN THE AP PROGRAM. I HEAR FROM MY FRIENDS THAT DOING THE FULL IB WAS THE WORST DECISION THEY EVER MADE.

My School Norte Vista High School will begin it's IB Programme in September but I need some things cleared up for me.

1st. How are we supposed to complete our community, action service(CAS)?

2nd. How does the Extended Essay supposed to be writen?

3rd. How is Theory of Knowldege taught?

4th. How difficult is the programme?

Global Poverty

Global poverty is a very sensitive issue.Poverty is a disease created by people themselves.I am talking about that kind of poverty where people have no food,no shelter and no clothes.They look for food from dust bins and drink drain water but they do not die so fast and keep on producing more poor people on this earth.

These people do not believe in doing work for food or clothes or for shelter but keep cursing their destiny and God.

Does anyone happen to have the list of projects to do after reading the books for the summer reading list?

The books I read were To kill a mockingbird and farewell to manzanar. Anything will help.
