IOP Topics

I am a junior full IB candidate that is struggling to find an IOP topic.  The books that we have read in our English class this year are The Great Gatsby, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and The Stranger.  I have no idea what to do and I have to present in two weeks.  Can anyone help, please???

Landslides in El Salvador - Hurricane Ida

El Salvador has recently been hit by heavy rains - associated with Hurricane Ida. Houses of many poor people have been submerged by landslides. Over 136 people have died and dozens are missing.

Hurricane Ida has also affected Nicaragua and Mexico.

What is the A1 Language curriculum for Bengali?

My son is an IB Diploma student at Oulun Lyseo lukio in Finland. For his Group 1 Language A1 he plans to offer his mother language, Bengali. However, we have not yet been able to find out what is the curriculum for Bengali so that he can make his choices and we can send him the required books.

Can anyone help? Anyone in Bangladesh? Or Kolkata? 

Looking for Children Around the World

Hi.  I'm the PYP Coordinator of Beacon School in the Philippines.  Currently, our second graders are doing an inquiry on Children Around the World.  

We would like to interview other students, ages 6 to 16, about their culture and lifestyle.  We'd love to do this through Skype or Tok Box.
