We Need Creative Ideas!!!!!!

Hi everyone!!

My name is Karl Kumodzi and I'm writing on behalf of the IB Program at Valley High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. We are in need of ideas on how to make our school reflect the success and global nature of the IB Program at Valley. First and foremost, we need an idea for a mural, project, or anything visible we can display at our school so that when people walk in through the front doors, it is obvious to them that our school has a global focus. Secondly, we need service project ideas that reflect the IB Community Theme. What we are trying to do is set up service projects that all the IB students can participate in.

So in summary, please give us ideas for feasible service projects and murals or a creative way to visibly show how Valley High School has a global focus. Thank you!!!!

i think u can make mind map!

i think u can make mind map! u cn take ib in focus and refer to all the things to that are related to ib. for example: u can strt wid ib den CAS den hw many things CAS affect in a widder perspective. like CAS is related to creativity, action, service. and service is further related to helping, causes, services etc. and causes can be poverty, child prostitution etc.

i hope u r able to picture wot m i trying to say! Best of luck for ur project! :)

I think you could hold a thirty hour famine to raise awareness for starvation around the world

When we did it in our school, students started stop eating early the first day, spent the night at school, and finished the next day. We had a feast where all the people with different nationalities brought in their native food.

During the 30 hour famine we did the following:

Took part in the Summer Concert in our school and announced to the parents attending about the event so that they could donate for the cause. (we had donation boxes at the entrances)

We carried out a neighborhood voluntary cleanup. In our case, it was a beach cleanup since we live in a coastal neighborhood. I'm sure you can do it with other public areas.

We did activities in school to pass the time. Plus, we were allowed to drink water.

In total, we earned around 2000 dollars. We donated this to the charity organization. You will be able find the website by searching 'the 30 hour famine'.
