My A.P has told me that I need to chose a textbook very soon. Our school is going to begin the I.B program next year, but our I.B visit in December. I am going to teach History of the America's to juniors. Another colleague of mine will be teaching the 20th century to our seniors. Can anyone recommend a good textbook that I can use just for the History of the America's section. Also any really good supplemental texts that students should read outside of class on maybe the Latin America or Canadian part as those are my weaknesses.-Thanks, Ken.

If you have access to the Online Curriculum Centre (OCC) - it's for IB schools only and is password protected - try posting this there. Or look for suggestions of resources. Passwords are issued via IB coordinators.
You are likely to get a better response there, as it's a general site for IB teachers, wheareas this one concentrates on global issues.
