The students from the IB world school American College Arcus® , Bulgaria, renewed the hall in the Local child care institution “P.&M. Velkovi” in Veliko Tarnovo. Seven students from the college with some friends from the institution painted the wall of the first floor with floral motives. Thus they gave new life to the dark and unpleasant room.
Leader of the project was the IB teacher Silvia Kaloyanovq and the paints were donated by the private school. The initiative is a part of the actions, connected with the international IB curriculum. The school is a part of the big world family of IB. In their school program “Creativity, Action, Service” plays a leading role.
On the eve of Easter the students from the IB Program surprised the children and gave them happiness because that’s the meaning of the holiday.
