Mr. Ban Ki-moon I am from Colombia, as you probably know, my country is having problems with the rebel group FARC, this group has been recognized by the UN as terrorist. Any way, the former Colombian government leaded by president Alvaro Uribe Velez has taken effective actions to eradicate this group, but has sacrifice diplomacy with our brother countries like Ecuador by violating its territory, and killing one of the leader of the FARC group that enjoyed political asylum in Ecuador, the organization of the american states has help both countries solve that diplomatic issue, although i would like to know your opinion of the matter....Thanks a lot

This year my school is doing a model of the united nations, I am the secretary general of this model and would like to ask you something.... one of the committees president wanted to work the discrimination to homosexuality in the world as one of the topics for her commission...My social studies teacher and model coordinator told me to cut the topic from my friend's commission because it was not valid in the UN concern context....Is it valid or not valid?

"Ask the UH secretary-general a question" was an activity arranged by the UNcyberschool bus in 2008 - through its own website. Young people were invited to submit questions, a few of which were forwarded to Ban Ki-moon.
As this has now finished, I'm sorry that questions posted here cannot be forwarded to the UN secretary-general.
