Looking forward to school starting in Sept./09. Want to know if there are any PYP Grade 1 teachers out there that are interested in class-to-class email pen-pals (whole class letters)? We are starting our U.O.I. with 'Celebrations'. Would be great to be in touch with another grade one class somewhere else in the world, or even more than one, and talk about how you celebrate where you live. Would like to take this further and continue communication throughout the year. I think the kids would love it, as i did a little of it last year with my grade two students and another class of grade two students from Australia. My kids loved it!
