Hello, my name is Ronda Pierce. I am a parent of a MYP student in Durham, North Carolina, USA.
I am the co-Vice President of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). I discussed with our IB coordinator a project that I would like to see in our school.
As an international corporate employee I have had the privilige to work with many of my colleagues from around the world. I have found that communication global is so much easier today. I would like to see our school engage with other schools in the IB community.
I am envisioning one of our classes working on a project jointly with another IB class outside of the USA. Has anyone done this before? If so, what type of setup did you have? How did you go about contacting the other class? What did you work on together? What were your results? If not, I am looking for a class that would be willing. I am willing to coordinate this effort.
