I am a first-time poster, so please bear with me ...  

As a recent graduate from the DP, I am interested in anything that comes through the media that relates to any part of the DP.  So, I have a link for those interested in the ethics and social science components of TOK in this post.

Managing TOK discussions via online wikispace or facebook

Has anyone used wikispaces or facebook to facilitate TOK discussion?  If so, have you devised a method for tracking the time they spend on this aspect of the class?

Humanitarian Aid and its function on the Global Stage

Has Humanitarian Aid become something of a political tool? How does one maintain humanitarian independance in the context of war? As part of an international community are we obligated to act out against the roots of conflict? How should Humanatarianism approach the political platform for things such as rules of war violations and the imposing of humanitiarian assistance in war human right norms such as gender equity and conflict-resolution initiatives? Would you say that organizations such as MSF and the Red Cross are fair in remaining neutral in conflicts?
