The Dwight School's second grade class held a fundraiser related to their Immigration Unit.  Students were inspired to hold a "Walk for Water" after learning about the situation in Darfur, where many families are forced to move from their homes, far from water sources.  Students were sponsored to complete a 2 mile walk.  The walk represented the distance many Sudanese children must travel to collect water for their families. The funds raised from the walk will be used to construct a well in Sudan.
